I can build these skills by teaching myself to code and practicing often. FreeCodeCamp and Harvard’s CS50 course let beginners learn at their own pace. I can make simple websites and games, then post them on GitHub to create a portfolio that shows what I can do.

Group projects will help me practice communication and teamwork, which are just as important as coding.
